In the classic game show “Jeopardy” the clue is given and the contestants supply the answer in the form of a question.   “What is ….”
Here you go.  It’s Final Jeopardy and the category is Definitions

“the process and outcome of successfully adapting to difficult or challenging life experiences, especially through mental, emotional, and behavioral flexibility and adjustment to external and internal demand…”

Scripture Reading:  Psalm 16:5-11
The Lord is my chosen portion and my cup;
you hold my lot.
The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
I have a goodly heritage.
I bless the Lord who gives me counsel;
in the night also my heart instructs me.
I keep the Lord always before me;
because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Therefore my heart is glad, and my soul rejoices;
my body also rests secure.
10 For you do not give me up to Sheol,
or let your faithful one see the Pit.
11 You show me the path of life.
In your presence there is fullness of joy;
in your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Reflection Questions:
How are you protecting yourself from the negative effects of COVID19?
What counsel is God giving you?
Who is included in your “goodly heritage”?

Prayer: Holy God, remind me of my “goodly heritage” and let me rest secure. Your counsel is deep within my heart.  Thank you for not giving up on me. Keep me on the path full of joy. Amen.
