This summer I had Covid-19 along with my husband and son. My symptoms were the most severe and my recovery took 6 weeks. It was one of the scariest and most uncertain times of my life.
During my illness, I read this scripture and felt compelled that I was destined to continue my purpose of helping others both professionally and personally. My illness was a temporary setback that would give me another way to connect with and support others. I’m blessed to say that today my family and I are fully recovered and in good health.
In any given day or week there are numerous distractions that attempt to deter us from our purpose. Whether its family issues, professional challenges, disappointments, the civil unrest in our country- there will always be distractions and obstacles to walk the path God intended for us to live a purposeful life that serves him by helping others.

Scripture Reading: Ephesians 2:10
“We are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

Questions:
Are you fully living your purpose?
If your answer is no, what is preventing you from doing so?
What change are you willing to make to walk in your purpose?

Prayer: Help guide me through each day of this journey of life. Help me to overcome the outside interference that attempts to distract me from my purpose. Give me the peace, discipline, and courage to stay focused, do what is right, and move forward each day. Amen.
