Looking through an old sermon I found this quiz. I kind of remember it and you might as well but maybe not. Either way it’s worth repeating.

Name the five wealthiest people in the world.
Name the last three Heisman Trophy winners.
Name 10 people who’ve won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.
Name the last five Academy Award winners for best actor and best actress.
Name the last 3 World Series winners.

When I tried to answer the first 5 questions, truthfully, I did not do very well. In fact I did not even make a passing grade.  But the quiz did not end there. It asked a few more questions.

List three teachers who aided your journey through school.
Name three friends who’ve helped you through a difficult time.
Name five people who’ve taught you something worthwhile.
Think of three people who’ve made you feel appreciated and special.
Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.

Scripture Reading: Ephesians 4:2-3
“with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”

Reflection Questions:
How did you do on the quiz?
What does” bearing with one another in love” mean to you?
What does the “bond of peace” look like to you?

Prayer: Holy God, with deep gratitude I give thanks for the many special people who have journeyed with me throughout my days. Fill me with humility and gentleness, so I can be a blessing to others.  Amen.
