Another Friday has arrived.  I read a story about a group of Americans traveling by tour bus through Holland. As they stopped at a cheese farm, a young guide led them through the process of cheese making, explaining that goat’s milk was used. She showed the group a lively hillside where many goats were grazing. “These,” she explained, “are the older goats put out to pasture when they no longer produce.” She then asked, “What do you do in America with your old goats?” A gentleman answered, “They send us on bus tours!”

Scripture Reading: Isaiah 55:12
“You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.”

Reflection Questions:
Who brings you joy?
How are you a leading?
Where would you like to visit?

Prayer: Holy God, in word and thought, in deed and gesture, let me be a good friend.  Keep me mindful and appreciative of all who fill my life and bring me joy. Let the sweetness of friendship spill over to all who have needs.  Amen.
