Pine Shores Youth are participating in this year’s nation-wide effort to raise money and awareness for hunger and food insecurity in our local community. Beginning January 23rd, we will be collecting money and non-perishable food items to donate to local organizations and charities that feed the hungry in our community. This year, PSY hopes to raise $10,000 and 2,022 cans of soup for local organizations and ministries who feed the hungry. Each year the Pine Shores community gives generously, and together we are able to help fill pantries and stock shelves with food at Beth-El Farmworker Ministry, All Faiths Food Bank, and Wintergarden Presbyterian Church food pantry in Port Charlotte. We could not continue to do this without your compassion and commitment to help others. We will have collection bins for food in the Narthex. The Souper Bowl of Caring final collection will take place on Super Bowl Sunday, February 13, 2022. This is a project that takes the whole community, and we are so grateful for your support and giving every year. Thank you for all you do to take care of others.
