JOY Company is a weekly after school Children’s ministry program where playfulness has meaning and the focus is on
Jesus first, Others second and Yourself last.
Oh, the places we’ll go this year – exciting, amazing, beautiful,
and never before seen!
All children 4 years through 5th grade are welcome to step into the
JOY room (#110) every Wednesday from
4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The JOY room offers a safe, nurturing and fun filled environment with supervision and
guidance from caring and loving leaders.
Our adventures start on Wednesday September 11, 2019
Children will have opportunities to make new friends, use their imagination, be creative,
explore new experiences and try new skills.
Children are also welcome to bring their friends.
The theme for this year is “Footprints”.
Each week we will step into new and exciting places and follow footprints. We will go to the Garden of Eden to walk with Adam and Eve, cross the Jordan riverbed with Joshua and Caleb, climb the mountain with Elijah, follow the good shepherd and shepherds to Bethlehem, meet up with Paul on the road to Damascus and beyond, roam with Jesus in the desert, wander with John the Baptist in the wilderness, and visit the town and cities on the way.
We will also travel to new mission fields as well as serve our neighborhood and community.
And we plan to revisit Cedarkirk.
Along the way we will take time for play, story telling, music, crafts and acting. Healthy snacks will also be provided.
Step by step we will go together, learning and growing in God’s love and joy.
We are so looking forward to another fantastic year and we thank God in advance for the blessings and favor that will flow to the JOY kids. May they all come to know His love, and love and serve others.
Wednesday Nights throughout the school year.
